Boiler Room.. The Best Of The Best..

In just five  years, the Boiler Room has become part of the very fabric of underground dance music. The idea is simple. Put a DJ in front of a small crowd and broadcast the results live online. The sets have pulled the most important legends and the most innovative newcomers and showcased them all over the world, streaming from bedrooms, chip shops, home towns to global festivals the boiler room series in 5 years have covered the lot..

Here are 10 of the best of those moments which we believe  highlights the best of the best. In no particular order.

1. Tobi Neumann. April 2015

We love this. A true master steps up on the Boiler Floor at Stattbad in Berlin. We love the warm up leading you into the following :Kerri Chandler – Atmospheric Beats Basement Jaxx – Rock This Road (Catz ‘N Dogz Remix)  Liberty City – Some Lovin’ .. The last track a classic from 1992 that has been given a new lease of life recently after featuring on Move D Fabric Mix.

The track that rocks our world. 42:39 Liberty – Some Lovin 1992

2. Move D B2B Optimo. Jan 2013

This is brilliant. Twitch & Wilkes of Glasgow’s Optimo and David ‘Move D’ Moufang three veterans in the game giving each other the respect they deserve for three hours,  Every flavour of four-to-the-floor is right here taking in Kraftwerk and Bill Withers for good measure. Funky Green Dogs From Outer Space – High Up (Cuba Libre Dub)sounds superb 20:00 min in..

3. Delano Smith. March 2015

The Detroit legend kept it soulful and grooving, and the crowd happily obliged.

The track that rocks our world. 36:00 Nina Kraviz – Imprv

4. Eats Everything Bristol Chip Shop Set. February 2015

Eats Everything live from a chippy and this is good. When a DJ plays in there own backyard you always know it will be a little more special, hence the 2 hour set. Obviously we are partial to jackin house so the run up the Derrick Carter – Squaredancing in a roundhouse made us giddy especially leading into Do You Wanna Funk – Sylvester

5. Bicep. January 2015

As with Eats Everything, hometown means special and special it is. full stop. Beginning, middle and end is perfectly navigated into 50minutes.

Because who else is gonna drop Henry Mancini in a Boiler Room?

The track that rocks our world.. 54.00 Marcus Worgull- Lenoix

8. Will Saul January 2012

To say this is is ‘on point’ is an understatement. A real djs set.. Its got the whole package and probably our overall favourite selection of tracks over any other boiler room set.

The track that rocks our world. 40:03 Steve Silk Hurley – Jack your body

9. Sven Vath Dec 2012

As the compare kindly mentions he had goosebumps even before the start of this and we can understand why. Momentum , excitement and the unknown ahead from when the first chord is struck. He start off dubby and druggy and keeps you guessing until 20min in when a melodic baseline starts to appear in the form of Boris Werner – Set It Off. A quick needle change a 22min and rest is history. Superb..

Track that rocks our world. 01:18mins Manic Brothers – Black Bay

10. Steve Bug. June 2014

This German legend needs no introduction. He didnt need to warm up with this set and came out grabbing hold of things quickly. We struggled with favourites with this set and its consistently good from the get go.. A must listen.

The track that rocks our world. 10:34  SHOWB – Dem Atmos

Enjoy.
